Our work

JAW Communications works with a wide range of organisations across Australia to deliver communications solutions that inform, engage and inspire.

We specialise in helping leaders maximise the value of their communications and marketing to drive business outcomes. We are proud of what we have done for our diverse range of clients, which includes not-for-profits, professional services businesses, listed entities and educational institutions.

We are particularly proud of winning two IABC Gold Quills in 2016 and another in 2017 - these awards recognise excellence in communications globally.

Below is just a sample of our recent work. If you would like to know more about what we've done in other areas, please get in touch, as some of our projects are highly confidential and cannot be shared.

Promoting FRRR's grant programs

Our task was three-fold:

  1. Generate awareness of FRRR’s grant programs and support available to grant applicants.
  2. Improve the quality of applications for the various grants available; and
  3. Attract additional donations from philanthropic partners to enable FRRR to support more community groups and meet unmet demand.

Given the geographic spread of the target audience, variable infrastructure and technology capabilities (particularly internet access) and diverse audience demographics, we took a multi-faceted communications approach. It included online and face to face elements, and embraced new channels where gaps or opportunities existed. We created tools to support community groups to help them develop and lodge better grant applications.

We worked hard to consistently create and distribute credible, compelling content, and to influence the influencers, to ensure FRRR’s capabilities and offerings are well understood by local communities, donors, governments and those who these people respect and trust.
