Since launching the quarterly donor e-newsletter in 2018, JAW Communications has worked in close partnership with Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR) to shape and deliver a highly targeted communications channel for its donor community.
From the outset, the e-newsletter demonstrated its value – with early editions directly influencing funding outcomes for priority programs. Building on that momentum, we have continued to manage the newsletter end-to-end, from strategic content planning and mapping through to writing, production and publication each quarter.
Working closely with FRRR’s CEO and key program staff, we draw out insights from across the organisation’s work in remote, rural and regional Australia, translating them into clear, compelling narratives tailored to a sophisticated audience of donors, supporters and government stakeholders. This ensures each edition not only informs, but also creates meaningful opportunities for engagement and investment.
The result is a consistently high-performing communication that exceeds sector benchmarks for engagement, while sitting alongside FRRR’s broader monthly eNews. It plays a critical role in strengthening donor relationships, highlighting funding needs and demonstrating the tangible impact of giving in regional communities.
